Carol Campbell Rea, 82, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Carol was born on June 5, 1942, in Michigan to the late John Campbell III and Florence Homa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John “Jackie” Campbell.

Those left to cherish her memory are Jimmie Rea; children, Kelly Hammons (Robert) and Jeff Rea; grandchildren, Allen Rea and Isabel Riddle (Benjamin); and great grandchildren, South, Sadie, Savannah and Shelby.

Carol loved flowers and gardening, as well as baking and spending time with family.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, May 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Troutman Funeral Home, 345 North Main Street, Troutman, NC 28166.
