With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Cherylle Scales-Anderson, a devoted daughter, loving wife, nurturing mother, cherished grandmother, loyal sister, and faithful servant of God.

Born in Boston, Mass., to James Arthur Scales and Delores Scales, Cherylle lived a life that was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering faith. She grew up surrounded by the warmth of family and the strength of spiritual conviction, values that she carried with grace throughout her journey.

Cherylle was the beloved wife of Dexter Anderson, with whom she shared a life of partnership, prayer, and enduring love. Together, they built a home where faith was the foundation and family was the heartbeat.

She was a proud and devoted mother to Benjamin Baynes and Cherylle Baynes, raising them with wisdom, compassion, and a fierce dedication to their well-being. Her love for her children was boundless, and her guidance shaped their lives in profound ways.

As a grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren—Isaiah, Cheyanne, Dominic, Nolan, Ian, and Toni—Cherylle’s joy multiplied. She was their storyteller, their encourager, their safe haven. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of belonging that will live on in their hearts. Cherylle was also a beloved sister to James, Pamela, Tracy, and Valerie Scales.
