Daisy Lee Dunlap Williams, 78, of Statesville, N.C., passed away at home surrounded by her family on October 30, 2025, following an extended illness. Daisy was born April 16, 1947, to the late Annie Ruth Marlowe and stepfather Vance Speaks Link. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hubert Harden Dunlap Jr. and Gary Wayne Link; and one nephew, Anthony Cates.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Spurgeon Williams of the home; two brothers, Johnny Link (Debbie) of Statesville and Glenn Link (Robin) of Statesville; one niece, Kristina Myers; one nephew, Matthew Link (Jaden); one great niece, Kelsey Myers; neighbors, Cindy Wright and Dan Rogers, Donna and Randy Haunaker, Mary and Mike Williams, Leon Allison, and Rex Hudsped; and her fur babies, Molly and Gidget.

The family appreciates the special Nurses, Abigail and Michelle, with Hospice of Iredell County, for the love and care they provided Daisy and CNA Annette McCallister.

There will be no formal service. The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
