Dana Crystal Munday Threatte, 63, of Stony Point, N.C., passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She was born August 12, 1962, in Iredell County, the daughter of James J. Munday and Hazelene Bentley Munday.

Dana was a self-employed upholster for most of her working career and of the Baptist faith. She loved her cats, plants, and wild critters. But most of all she loved her children, grandchildren, and family.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Angie Keever and a brother, Joseph Munday.

Along with her father, those left to cherish and honor Dana’s memories include her lifelong partner, Scott Lynch; her daughters, Katelynn Patterson (Sammy) of Statesville, and Alacey Windsor (Bryan) of Statesville; her son, Tyler Threatte (Tia) of Statesville; her grandchildren, Skyler Smith (Cadence), Adell Threatte, Memphis Smith, Maci Windsor, and Levi Windsor; her sisters, Debbie Munday of Statesville, and Pamela Locke (Richard) of Statesville; a special niece, Elisa Gibson; and several nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. James Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Statesville. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service.

Pallbearers include Tyler Threatte, Skyler Smith, Sammy Patterson, Bryan Windsor, Richard Locke, and Jesse Lynch.
