On September 4, 2025, Deanna Lovelace Boone passed peacefully in Charlotte, N.C. Deanna is survived by her brother, Wayne Lovelace (Deborah); her children: Timothy Brown (Megan), Kimberly Parris (Tony), Roger Boone Jr., and Christopher Boone (Jennifer); her grandchildren: Ashley Leopard, Emily Geer (Tyler), Olivia Krueger (Quinton), Jesse Parris, and Hudson Boone; and her great-grandchild, Lucas Krueger.

Deanna was preceded in death by her husbands, David Brown and Roger Boone.

Deanna was born on July 12, 1937, in Greensboro, N.C., to Lonnie and Josephine Lovelace. Both of her parents are deceased. She graduated from Greensboro Senior High School in 1955. Deanna first married David Brown, with whom she had her children, Timothy and Kimberly, in Greensboro, N.C. She later married Roger Boone, with whom she had her children, Roger and Christopher, in Charlotte, N.C.

In 1978, she relocated to Mooresville, N.C., adjacent to Lake Norman, where she remained until she passed. She enjoyed her Mooresville cottage, often hosting her children and friends. Deanna was an avid gardener. She always had a yard full of flowers and a bounty of vegetables that she loved to share.

Deanna was an intelligent independent woman raising her four children virtually alone. She spent her career working many years in the storage trailer rental industry, serving clients in both Charlotte and Statesville. She loved to travel with her friends and family. She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness and remained active in the service throughout her life.

Deanna will be missed for her intelligent wit, her loving embrace of her children and grandchildren, and her devotion to her religion.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory, 494 East Plaza Drive, Mooresville, NC 28115.
