Deborah Ann Farster, 75, of Mooresville, N.C., and formerly of Ambridge, Pa., peacefully and unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 27, 1950, in Ambridge, Pa., Deborah was the cherished daughter of the late Edward and Ada Hlozek. She touched countless lives with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. Her warm spirit and joyful presence lit up every room she entered, and her hugs were known to bring comfort and peace.

Deborah found joy in long conversations with her family, cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events, shopping, and taking walks with friends. She had a deep love for interior design and especially loved to decorate for the holidays — with fall and Christmas being her favorite seasons.

A devoted Christian, Deborah lived her life with grace, compassion, and a heart full of love. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she was truly the heart of it. She will be forever remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She is survived by her children, Kim Piper (Brandon), Hilary Kubit, and Keith Kubit (Courtney); her beloved grandchildren, Cade and Brooke Piper, and Blake and Ryan Kubit; her stepson Brandon Farster (Angela); her sister Arlene Banks (Dan); her brothers, Edward Hlozek (Susan), Dennis Hlozek (Cheryl), and Jeff Hlozek (Sue); her sister Pam Graef (John Paul); and many nieces and nephews.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ada Hlozek, and her husband, Jim Farster. She is now reunited with them in eternal rest.

Deborah’s beautiful spirit and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 12 noon in the hall at St. Columbkille Church – St. Isidore the Farmer Parish – 103 Church Road, Imperial, PA 15126, offering an opportunity for family and friends to gather, share memories, and honor her life together. A Mass will follow at 1 p.m.. All who wish to pay their respects and celebrate Deborah’s life are welcome to attend.
