Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Brown Frye, 59, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at her home.

Born on August 31, 1965, in Statesville, she was the daughter of the late James A. Brown and Mary Jane Plyler Brown. She enjoyed spending time with her family and animals. She loved to read and loved ice cream.

She was preceded in death by special cousin Angela “Gail” Feimster and several beloved aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her son, Mark Frye Jr.; sister, Wanda Campbell (Mark); brother, Timothy Brown; special aunt Betty Feimster; niece, Olivia Campbell; nephew Nolan Morris; great nieces and nephew, Isabella, Gage, and Willow Morris; and many cousins she loved dearly.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
