Eugene Randall Harmon, 61, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital. Born on December 11, 1963, in Williamson, W.Va., Eugene was the beloved son of the late Eugene Glenn Harmon and Ruby Marylou Taylor Harmon.

Eugene dedicated nearly two decades of his life to working at Ingersoll Rand in Davidson, earning the respect of his colleagues and friends alike. He was a man known for his love of life, finding joy in watching his favorite sports teams, attending concerts, and sharing laughter at comedy shows. His warm spirit and generous heart touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his cherished niece, Haley Storm Miller.

He is survived by his loving sister, Robin Evans, and her husband Basil; as well as another sister, Susan Harmon. He will also be remembered fondly by his nephews, Joshua Evans and Dakota Dempsey, his niece, Summer Harmon, his great nephew, Jameson Dempsey, his great niece, Hayley Layne and a host of extended family members.

There will be no formal funeral services held at this time.

Eugene’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be lovingly remembered.
