
Fannie Mae Willis Moore, 88, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025. She was born in Georgia on January 1, 1937, to Herchel Willis and Blanche Mills Willis.
Fannie was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Derwin Moore and James Curtis Moore; her daughter, Jacqueline Bell; her sister, Susan Mae Dixon; and her grandson, Quentin Willis.
She is survived by her sons, Jackie Moore, Daris Moore, Exodus Moore, and Wallace Willis; her daughters, Valerie Templeton (John), Stephanie Moore, Blanche Willis, and Quanita Bost (Michael); 37 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 21 great-great grandchildren.
Fannie was a great mother, and she especially loved going on trips with her family. She was the kind of person who loved people and would help anyone.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home from 1 until 2 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mary Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Belmont Cemetery.
