Gale Louise Walton Crisco Harris, 82, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at her home.

She was born on April 22, 1943, in Salisbury, N.C., to the late Theodore “Dink” and Ova Lucille Kluttz Walton. Ms. Harris was a graduate of China Grove High School. She enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, and trips to the mountains, especially Pigeon Forge, Tenn., with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers and vegetables. When she was younger, she loved to waterski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Roger Harris; sister, Dorothy Webster; brother, Ted Walton; son-in-law, Anthony “Tony” Coe; and step son-in-law, Kenneth Matney.

She is survived by her daughters, Tina Crisco Coe and Renee Crisco Johnson; stepdaughters, Amy Matney and Karen Beaver (Brian); sister, Betty Lowder; grandchildren, Amber Coe, Sara Coe Poole (Eric), Christopher Hatfield, and Brandon Crouch; step grandchildren, Kristie Shepherd, Amanda Loftis, Kayla Holestin, Kendra Matney, and Jessica Loftis; and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. with a service following at 4 p.m. at the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Smith officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, September 15, at Iredell Memorial Park.
