Georgiann Johnson McQuiller, 89, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025. Born in Baltimore, Md., on July 5, 1936, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Johnson.

Georgiann was a homemaker in her own home, and she enjoyed cooking, dancing, and a good laugh, and she dearly loved her family.

She is survived by her son, Andre Pettis, her daughter; Desiree Pettis, one grandson, Andre Lewis, and several family members still living in Baltimore.

No services are planned at this time per the family’s wishes.
