Glenda Beaver Howard, 68, of Mooresville, N.C. passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025. She was born on July 31, 1957, in Iredell County, N.C., to Glenn (Fuzzy) and Shirley Jones Beaver.

In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by her former husband, George Howard, and nephew, Joshua Crabb.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Richard Travis Howard; her sister, Ellen Beaver Padgett, currently residing at Kerr Lake with her husband Larry Padgett; and niece Amber Crabb Jarrell (daughter of Ellen Beaver Padgett). Long-time friend Cindy Wilson, also from Mooresville, was by her side every day taking care of her and nurturing her lifelong friend throughout her time in the hospital. Also left to cherish their grandmother are grandchildren given to her by her son, Travis Howard, Jasmine Renee’ Howard Kilpatrick, Tristan Kincaid Howard, and Spencer James Howard; and great grandchildren (parents are Jon and Jasmine Howard Kilpatrick) Violet and Lucas Kilpatrick.

Glenda’s favorite pastimes were reading, cooking and visiting with her grandchildren. Also her love for all animals, including horses, was apparent throughout her lifetime.
