Harold B. Mette Jr., 79, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on October 10, 2025. He was born March 2, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pa., son of Marie Theresa Mette and Harold Bernard Mette Sr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Marie Krier, George Mette, and Thomas Mette.

Harold is survived by his wife, Rosa Mette; his sister, Suzenne Berboth; and his children and grandchildren.

He was a dedicated NASCAR fan. Most important to Harold was his family and he will forever be remembered as an outstanding, kind, and loving and devoted partner, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Visitation is scheduled for October 12, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, 494 East Plaza Drive, Mooresville, NC 28115.
