Jeffrey Adams, 64, of Hiddenite, N.C., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at his home. He was born September 12, 1960, in Iredell County, the son of Geraldine Pharr Adams and the late Walter Jackson Adams.

Jeffrey worked at Visco for 20 years as a mechanic for most of his working career. He was a man that was dedicated to his job.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish and honor Jeffrey’s memories include the love of his life for 45 years, Myra Bowman; his sisters, Sherry Meadows (Terry) of Taylorsville and Donna Smith of Stony Point; his brother, Danny Adams (Teresa) of Stony Point; his nieces, Tia Andras, Tasha Price, Kellie Haithcox, and Julie Adams; his nephews, Jackson Smith, Gunner Smith, and Cooper Smith; and a number of great-nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Michael Turnmyre will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Iredell County.

Pallbearers include Robert McLain, Bobby McLain, Jackson Smith, Gunner Smith, Cooper Smith, Monte Rogers, Scott Mecimore, and Ethan Rogers.
