Jessica Caroline Brown, 31, of Woodleaf, N.C., passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on April 15, 1994, in Iredell County, N.C., to the late Brandy Nicole Ramsey.

Jessica graduated from Mooresville High School and was employed with Freightliner until her health declined. She worked at Bucko’s with her favorite auntie, owner Missy Rosenbaum. She enjoyed traveling and going to the beach; her preferred vacation spot was Tybee Island, Ga. Jessica loved crafts, cooking, and making her favorite dishes, mac n cheese and homemade potato soup.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, George Whitehead.

She is survived by the love of her life, her fiancé Jemall Cuthbertson; and extended family that she loved dearly, Virginia Cuthbertson, Kenneth Cuthbertson, Freddy Cuthbertson (Leslie), Sophia Davidson (James) and Shirley Cuthbertson Jr. (Cheryl), Vicky Davis (Andrew), Donnie Ray Cuthbertson, Sherry Parks (Kevin Parks Sr.); and another love of her life, her yorkie Dixie.

Her closest friends were Missy Rosenbaum, Stephanie Carr, Courtney, Amy, Brittany, Samantha (“Sam”), Junique Harris, Dawn Alexander (“Punkin”), and a host of more friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, at the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Davis and Pastor Eddie Fortson officiating.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center for all their loving support during this difficult time.
