John F. Serbin, 81, of Taylorsville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at his home. He was born May 14, 1944, in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late Edward Serbin and Jean Kubich Serbin.

John proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era from 1961-1967. He retired from Shurtape, where he worked as a machine operator.

Those left to cherish and honor John’s memories include his sisters, Sue Kossar from Largo, Fla., and Gertrude Kurck from Covert, Minn.; his brothers, Ron Serbin from Seminole, Fla., and Stan Serbin form Kunkletown, Pa.; and many other family members and friends.
