June Marie Walker, 68, of Statesville, N.C., passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. June was born in Iredell County on August 3, 1957, to the late Weisner Clay Madison and Joyce Ann Sloan.

June was the matriarch of the family, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Aaliyah Schulze.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Rayford Eugene Walker of the home; four sons, Trent Caviness (Julie) of Statesville, Scott Caviness (Tina) of Claremont, Madison Caviness (Tawana) of Taylorsville, and Matthew Caviness (Emily) of Statesville; one daughter, Shannon Bourque (Robert) of Jacksonville; three brothers, Dolly Madison (Olin, Clay Madison Jr., Anita) of Statesville, and Fuji Madison of Olin; one sister, Patricia Gaither (Martie) of Olin; nine grandchildren, Taylor (Evan), Tyler (Makenzie), Kaitlyn (Cody), Elixa, Austin, Garrison, Lainey, Braxton, and Kinsley; one great-grandchild, Blakley; bonus sons, Bradley Roberts (Amber) and Britt Linton (Karie); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 12 noon at Chapman Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Pastor Bradley Roberts will officiate.
