With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Karl Heinz Dollmann of Statesville, N.C., on Septemer 9, 2025. He was 82 years old.

Karl was born on April 21, 1943, to Lorenz and Selma Dollmann in Koln, Germany. He was a loving husband to Kaye Dollmann, a father to Karla Dollmann (Brian Corder), and a cherished step-father to Brian Anderson (Anna) and Tami Schrag (Bill). He was also a proud grandfather to 11 and great grandfather to nine.

Karl loved travelling to National Parks, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Venice, Whistler, British Columbia, Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Aruba, St Martin, and many more with our timeshares. He enjoyed “coffee with the boys,” gardening, decorating the outside for Christmas, and his Kansas City Chiefs, which he was a 51-year season ticket holder.

Karl is survived by his wife Kaye, children and nephew Jeff.

Karl was preceded in death by his parents, brother (Kurt), sister-in-law (Mildred), son (Ken).

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, followed by the service at 11 a.m. at Fifth Creek Presbyterian Church, Statesville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In memory of Karl and his love for the Kansas City Chiefs, the family invites family and friends to wear red and gold to the services.
