Larry Lee Cloer, 58, of Statesville, N.C., entered his heavenly home on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Affectionately known as “Bobo,” Larry was born in Iredell County on April 30, 1967, to the late Robert Cloer and Florence Pennell Cloer.

He attended Fern Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed building blocks and reading magazines, and he loved his ball caps.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Garry Cloer; and sister-in-law, Annie Cloer.

Survivors include one brother, James Cloer of Taylorsville; two sisters, Gail Lackey of Conover and Judy Lambert and husband Rob of Statesville; and several special nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Fern Hill Baptist Church Troutman at 3 p.m. Pastor Jesse Stroud will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. Burial will follow at Stony Point Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Tommy Branson, Neil Branson, Nathan Lambert, Luke Dannheim, JJ Cloer, Levi McCoy, and Marion Weatherhead. The family will be meeting at 210 Cedar Ridge Loop Statesville NC 28625 following the services.
