Rev. Leonard Lee Middleton Jr.,75 of Statesville, N.C., passed away July 2, 2025 after an extended illness. He was born May 30, 1950 in Harrisburg, Pa., to the late Leonard Middleton Sr. and Alma Darty Middleton.

Lenny served in the U.S. Army and later retired from the hospital. After retirement in 2014, he moved to Statesville. He also served as an Assistant Pastor at St. Joseph Baptist Church.

Lenny is survived by sons, Chris Haigh (Mary), Allen Harris, Terry McMullen (Ashley), Anthony Harris, Antoine Harris and David Gray; daughters, Teresa Bennett and Sharron Harris, adopted children, Zeyrae Middleton, Jahaira Middleton and Leonard Middleton III; brother Randolph Middleton Sr.; and sisters Madelyn Mathis and Claudette Laster; along with 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
