Lisa Marie Underwood Mourier, 62, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Allegheny County, Pa., on July 16, 1963, she was the wife of Mark J. Mourier and the daughter of the late Howard Richard Underwood and Carol Lee Moore Loy. She was employed by the Iredell-Statesville School system at N.B. Mills Elementary School in Child Nutrition. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Troutman.

Lisa was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Army Reserves for several years. She enjoyed horseback riding, roller skating, riding motorcycles, and loved scuba diving in her younger days.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Mourier; and two sons, Brandon Regis Mourier of Fort Bragg, N.C., and Travis Joseph Mourier of Statesville, N.C. She is also survived by one brother, Darrell (Mary) Underwood; two sisters, Deborah (Mark) Singiser and Laurie (Steve Kulenich) Pavicic; one brother-in-law, Scott Mourier; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Troutman, N.C., with Pastor Dieter Punt officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Troutman Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lisa’s memory to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
