It is with great sorrow that the family of Lois Ann Williams announces the passing on November 6, 2025, at the age of 92. Born February 9, 1933, in Iredell County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Clarence Preston and Cora Lee Pope Nantz.

Lois worked at Troutman Shirt, Draymore Manufacturing, and Burlington Industries for her early career. Her true passion was hairdressing, graduating from Career Beauty College on November 10, 1982. Lois was known for her craftiness, faith, unwavering devotion to her family, and the ability to bake a perfect poundcake. She was a charter member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Lois was a wonderful wife of 68 years to James Williams, who met her eagerly with open arms as she returned to Heaven, along with their daughter, Patsy. She was preceded in death by James, Patsy, and her son-in-law, Allen; as well as her six brothers, Charles, Edgar, Gray, Oscar, Johnny, and Jimmy; and her four sisters, Kathleen, Etta Mae, Elizabeth, and Mable.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann, and four sons Danny (wife Cathy), Mike (wife Gayle), John (wife Beth), and Jimmy (wife Jill); her eight grandchildren, Lisa (husband Dale), Brian (wife Candace), Danny Jr. (wife Edna), Michelle (husband Mark), Chris (wife Amy), Deborah (husband Aaron), Christy (husband Jason), and Jett. She is also survived by her 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at The Bridge Church, Mooresville, on Tuesday, November 11, at 11 a.m. Receiving of Friends will take place the night before, Monday, November 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home in Mooresville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lois’ church, The Bridge Church, 2940 Charlotte Hwy., Mooresville, NC 28117, for their project to replace the doors to the Sanctuary; or to Hospice of Iredell County, 1325 Mecklenburg Hwy., Mooresville, NC 28115.
