Louise Casale, 61, of Cleveland, N.C., passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville, N.C. She was born on May 15, 1964, in New York, the daughter of Helen Basile and Domonic Basile.

A devoted mother with a generous heart, Louise found her deepest joy in raising her children and surrounding them with love. Her days were filled with care, laughter, and long-lasting memories. She had a joyful spirit, loved to laugh, and had a deep devotion to family. No matter the need, Louise was always there, and ready to give, support, and love without hesitation.

Louise had a true passion for the kitchen. Whether it was preparing a weeknight dinner or hosting a special birthday celebration, she poured love into every meal she made. Her homemade Christmas cookies and birthday cakes became beloved family traditions, remembered not only for their sweetness but for the care and joy she put into them. And if there was one treat she loved as much as making sweets for others, it was chocolate.

Hanging above her kitchen table was a sign that read “Tutti a tavola a mangiare” Everyone to the table to eat. It wasn’t just a decoration, but a saying Louise lived by. Her table was always open, always warm, and always full of love.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, her heart, and the many beautiful moments she created for those around her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph; her cherished children, Vincent, Rachael, and Anthony; and her adored grandchildren, Olivia and Jaxon. She is also survived by her loving sister, Caroline, and brother, Joseph.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home in Mooresville, with a Memorial Service to follow at 4 p.m. in the chapel.
