Lynn Andrew Teague, 86, of Charlotte, N.C., and previously of Mooresville, N.C., will be remembered fondly by family and friends after his passing on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Atrium Health Mercy in Charlotte. Born on May 11, 1939, in the charming town of Mooresville, he was the beloved son of the late Walter Teague and Alta Thompson Teague Alawine.

Lynn’s journey began in his hometown, where he graduated from Mooresville High School in 1957, and continued his education at Kings Business College, earning an Associate Degree in 1959. As a teenager, he embodied the spirit of hard work, gaining valuable experiences at local establishments such as Deluxe Ice Cream and A & P, before moving on to Western Auto until 1960. Answering the call of duty, Lynn proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1964, a testament to his commitment and character.

Following his military service, he embarked on a distinguished career in the food service industry, devoting 25 years to Goodnight Brothers Food Service Distribution, followed by a successful tenure at Sara Lee before joining AAA Carolinas, where he worked from 1991 to 2004. Lynn’s professional life was marked by integrity, dedication, and a profound love for his work.

In addition to his parents, Lynn was preceded in death by his dear brother, Grady. Those who knew him will gather to share stories and commemorate his remarkable life, as services will be held in private.
