Mrs. Martha Ann Smith Stephens, affectionately known as “Ann,” was born on November 12, 1953, in Battle Creek, Mich., to the late George Smith and Dorothy Armstead Smith. She peacefully passed away on November 8, 2025.

Ann was the beloved wife of the late Jerome Stephens. Together, they built a life filled with love and family, and were blessed with one daughter, Stacey Alexandria Pringle of Bayonne, N.J. Ann was a proud graduate of Clara Barton High School in Brooklyn, N.Y.

She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Her kindness and gentle spirit touched all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
