Melanie Keller Solomon, 61, of Hiddenite, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at her home. She was born July 15, 1964, in Catawba County, the daughter of the late Floyd Keller and Sarah Elizabeth Johnson Keller.

Melanie was of the Christian faith. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Sarah Keller; and her brother, Mark Keller.

Those left to cherish and honor Melanie’s memories include her husband of almost 41 years, John Solomon Jr. of the home; her daughters, Sarah Marie Solomon of the home, and Amanda Christine Frye (Mitchel) of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Shaye Cline, Nathaniel Isaiah Cline, Marissa Brooke Cline, Kylie Dezirae Frye, and Aubrie Paige Frye; her brother, Timothy Keller of Florida; her niece, Amber McGalliard; and nephew, Dustin Keller.
