Mildred Pitts Stutts, 91, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. She was born on May 20, 1934, in Westminster, S.C., to the late Robert and Mary Farmer Pitts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Stutts; son, Richard Stutts; sister, Frances Witherspoon; brother-in-law, Bobby Witherspoon; and brother-in-law, Bill King.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Bradshaw and husband Tim; grandchildren, Chris Stutts and wife Angela, Kevin Stutts (Danielle), Heather Cook and husband Drew, and David Bradshaw and wife Courtney; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Grattendick (Bill), Brenda King; and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625; and Whitman Park Baptist Church, 188 Whitman Circle, Mooresville, NC 28115.
