Nancy Jaynes Teeter, 89, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the Sherrills Ford Hospice House.

She was born on March 14, 1936, in Morganton, N.C., to the late Lee and Ida Mae Conley Jaynes. Mrs. Teeter was a retired receptionist and secretary for Eddie’s Grocery in Mooresville. She attended Prospect Presbyterian Church in Mooresville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Charles “Eddie” Parker and Donald “Don” Parker Jr.; stepson, Jeffrey “Jeff” Teeter; and 12 half brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Edgar “Eddie” Marshall Teeter; son, Russell “Rusty” Parker and wife Angela; stepson, Douglas “Doug” Teeter and wife Rebecca; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with a graveside service following at 4:30 p.m. at Prospect Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Justin Parker officiating.
