Mrs. Patricia Denise Teasley Buford, 65, was born on February 1, 1960, in Salisbury, N.C., to the late Rufus Teasley, and Sula B. Teasley Leach. She entered into eternal life on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C.., following a brief illness.

She was married to Willie Buford Jr., who survives. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by five brothers, Vernon Teasley, Kenneth Teasley, Joe Rufus Teasley, Freddie Teasley, and Willie Teasley; and one sister, Louise Teasley.

Patricia, attended the Iredell County School System. She loved to cook, and she was employed by the Quick Shop. Patricia loved her grandchild very much. She had the biggest heart and was loved by many. Patricia will be missed very much.

Patricia leaves to cherish the memories of her life, her husband Willie Buford Jr.; one son, Ollie Ray (Marilyn) Teasley of Georgia; two daughters, Patricia Denise Teasley (Toshay) of Norcross Ga.., and Karneitha Sharrel Gaines of Statesville, N.C.; two children she raised as her own, Jamaya Hickman and Dameon Hickman, both of Statesville, N.C.; one grandchild, Elijah Rayshun Teasley of Hartwell, Ga..; three brothers, Roy Teasley of Hartwell, Ga., Michael Teasley (Ann) of Statesville and Kevin Teasley of Georgia; six sisters, Peggy Teasley, Nettie Ruth Teasley, Wanda Teasley, Linda Teasley, and Elizabeth Young (Slim), all of Statesville; Gwendolyn Hill of Hartwell, Ga.; and a host of other cousins, relatives, and friends.
