With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Peggy Howard Cashion, who entered eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on October 22, 2025. Born in Cornelius, N.C., on February 9, 1936, she was the beloved daughter of the late Wilson Rozzell Howard and Ealer Hager Howard.

Peggy’s life was a testament to her devotion to her family and her deep roots in the Lake Norman community. She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Phillip Cashion Sr., and their two sons, Skip Cashion and Dennis Cashion. She also leaves behind her son-in-law, Chris Hottel, and many other cherished relatives and friends who will forever remember her kind and generous spirit.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Centre Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 129 Centre Church Road, Mooresville, NC 28117. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate her life. Visitation will follow the graveside service in the Williams Building.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Centre Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice.

Peggy will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love and warmth she brought to all who knew her.
