Phillip Wayne Nevills, 77, of Catawba, N.C., passed away May 21, 2025.

Phillip was a Vietnam Veteran. He served in the 981st Military Police as a K-9 Handler. He worked for numerous years and retired from Industrial Piping (IPI) as an industrial painter. He loved fishing, cooking, gardening and most of all spending time with his family.

Phillip was born June 4, 1947, in Fayetteville, Tenn., to the late JR and Jesse Nevills.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

His surviving family members are his wife Margarete Nevills; two children; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

You could not have asked for a better husband, father, grandfather or great grandfather. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.
