Rhonald Montelly Davidson, 68, of Statesville, N.C., boarded that train bound for glory on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, surrounded by his family and friends. He was the son of the late Leon Davidson and the late Edith Mae Williams Davidson.

Rhonald graduated from South Iredell High School, and he was employed by Smart Metals Recycling LLC as a Lv2 Itad operator. He was a devoted and faithful member of Gray’s Chapel United Church of Christ in Statesville, N.C. We could see how Rhonald affectionately loved God, by his testimonies, and always giving God the praise. He loved his church family and Pastor’s. He served as secretary of the Men of Expectation and his favorite sports team was the Washington (Redskins) Commanders. Ron also had a love for drag racing; he was a true motor head, and he was always bragging about his 1964 Chevy pickup Truck, and 1995 custom Impala, which was truly a sight to see.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life two daughters, Tosha Roseboro of Statesville, and Cherrall Davidson of Statesville; three brothers, Fredrick Williams (Alice), Erwin Davidson (Kathy), and Terence Davidson (Katrina); one sister, Cheryl Rodriguez; four grandchildren, Toshan Roseboro, Tyrale Roseboro, Saniah Davidson, and Toron Roseboro; a special cousin, Robin Curry; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, the Gray’s Chapel Church Family; and friends.

Rutledge & Bigham Mortuary is serving the family.
