Robert “Robbie” Burton Hall, 58, of Statesville, N.C., went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 13.
Robbie was born August 26, 1967, in Martinsville, Va., to the late Jimmy Ray Hall Sr. and Charlotte Florence Bryant Hall. He attended South Iredell High School and was employed by Hy-Tek Intralogistics. He loved to hunt and fish, especially when taking his nieces, nephews and friends. He lived by the Golden Rule, “treat others the way you want to be treated.” He had a special place in his heart for young people, and he was good to them all.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Anthony Hall.
Robbie is survived by his wife of 20-plus years, Kimberlynn “Kim” Plummer Hall. He is also survived by “the apple of his eye” his niece, Ashton McCardle; brother, Jimmy Ray Hall (Scarlet); sister, Elizabeth Morrison; brothers-in-law, Gary “Sweetie” Plummer (Renee) and Jimmy Plummer (Darlene); sisters-in-law, Stacey Hall, Becky Plummer, Shirley Butcher (Donald) and Rebecca McCardle (Eddie); special nephews, Jason Lundy, Shaun Lundy, Jamie Plummer, Frank Plummer III and Patrick Plummer; special nieces, Keetha Blackburn, Aliza Hall, Jessie Gardner, Kelly Madden, Alyssa Barajas and Katy Justin; and special friends, Eric Thompson, Mike Hughes and Joe Clendenin (Shirley).
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, September 19, at Troutman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 21, at 3 p.m. at Forest Methodist Church in Elk Creek, Va.. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
