On October 4, 2025, Robert “Bob” Craven Cashion, a beloved and respected member of the Mooresville, N.C., community, passed away at the age of 95. Many friendships were made while running John’s Exxon with his father. He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Peggy Cashion; his parents John and Mary Catherine “Kitty” Cashion; and son-in-law Phil Alexander.

He is survived by his daughter, Nina Alexander; grandson, Shea Alexander; granddaughter, Blair (Tommy) Knox; and great-grandchildren, Maddox Alexander and Hallie Knox.

A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Coddle Creek ARP Church, Mooresville, with Rev. Andrew Shoger officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coddle Creek ARP, 2297 Coddle Creek Hwy., Mooresville, NC 28115 or S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House, 1325 Mecklenburg Hwy., Mooresville, NC 28115.
