Robert “Bob” Harrison Frey, 67, of Mooresville, N.C., and formerly of Washington Boro, Pa., passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025.

He was born on October 19, 1957 in Lancaster, Pa., to the late Benjamin and Viriginia Gruver Frey. Bob retired in 2024 from Westrock Industries of Mooresville after 37 years.

Bob’s greatest love and joy was his family. He was also a fantastic cook and loved sharing his dishes with his many family and friends. He enjoyed working in the yard. Bob adored his two golden retrievers Rey and Poppy. Bob was a volunteer firefighter for many years in Pennsylvania, also having served as chief.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Benjamin F. Frey Jr. and James Frederick Frey.

He is survived by his wife, Beryl Glew Frey; son, Tyler of Elkins West Virginia; brothers, Michael L. Frey, Steven C. Frey, and David A. Frey; sister, Gwenda D. Frey; brothers-in-law, David V. Glew and Charles R. Lowe; sisters-in-law, Glynnis B. Lowe, Susan Bordy, and Judy Frey; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 23, at 3 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home in Mooresville, N.C., with the Rev. Mark S. Forbes officiating. Interment of ashes will be private and will take place at a later date.
