Ronald Rickie Johnson, 71,went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 22, 2025. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and two children.

Rick was born in Iredell County, N.C., on September 24, 1953, to the late Luther Johnson and Jean Little Johnson. He was married to the love of his life, Patti, for 47 years. Their marriage was a true partnership built on love and faith. He was part owner and operator of Statesville Carpet Inc. Rick served faithfully as a deacon at South River Baptist Church for many years, offering guidance, leadership and heartfelt support to his church family. He later became a member at Beulah Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Patricia “Patti” Crawford Johnson; daughter, Courtney Seese (Brian); son, Chad Johnson (Stephanie); grandchildren, Autumn, Philip, Marie, Ansley and Andrew; brothers Gary (Linda) and Craig (Michelle); and sister Cindy Austin (Tommy); along with many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Brian Burgess officiating.
