Tink lived a life rich in love and devotion, embodying the roles of wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt with grace and steadfastness. Her unwavering dedication to her family was evident in her years of hard work at Cascade Mills, Home Curtain and 24 years of PTA. A play by ear pianist, she was a long-time member of Prospect Presbyterian Church, where her love for music flourished. She sang in the church choir and was devoted to her church.

In addition to her parents, Tink was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy J. Wilkinson, and her sister, Alma Lea Winkler of Boone, N.C.

She is survived by her three children, Lou Ann Robinson (Tony), Scott Wilkinson (Amelia), and Casey Wilkinson; her grandchildren, Meredith, Leah, Joshua, Sarah, Isaac, Grayson, and Gavin; seven great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward.

A memorial service honoring Tink’s life will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Prospect Presbyterian Church with Pastor Will Gipe officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m., prior to the service in the Family Life Center. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in the church cemetery beside her husband. This will be private for the immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625, or to Prospect Presbyterian Church, 9425 NC-152, Mooresville, NC 28115, in memory of this remarkable woman.
