On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, Stephanie “Stevi” Bove passed away at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville, N.C. She was 75 years young.

Stevi was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on February 20, 1950, a daughter to the late Samuel and Phylis Roth. She lived most of her life in New Jersey until February 2015, when she moved to North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by both parents and her husband, Anthony Bove.

Stevi graduated from Erasmus High School and studied at Harcum College. She spent over 30 years working as a medical biller for the Monmouth Medical group until she retired in 2014.

On September 8, 1974, she married Tony Bove, and together raised two kids and many schnauzers. Stevi had a passion for animals, especially her dogs, was an avid reader, loved to play Bingo and watch old movies (Westerns and Masterpiece Theater). She would love to tell you all about the actors in the movie and then quiz you on it later.

She enjoyed entertaining family and friends and cooking more than enough delicious food to celebrate any occasion. She also loved sports and spent many years going to watch the New York Knicks and New York Jets.

Most important to her was her family, and she will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister (sister-in-law), aunt, cousin and friend.

She leaves a lasting legacy to be cherished by her survivors, including her son Darrell Bove (Bayville, N.J.), daughter Alexis Kramer and husband Jeremy Kramer (Mooresville, N.C.); granddaughters Samantha and Caitlyn; sister Ronnie Rosenburg and husband Lester (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.); nephew Mike Rosenburg and wife Christina (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.); two great niece and nephew Skylar and Camden; sister-in-law Josephine DaSilva (Bayville, N.J.); nephew Richard Jackson and wife Ashleigh (Bayville, N.J.); two great nephews Chris and Nicholas; and many cousins and dear friends.

A celebration of life service will be held by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lake Norman Humane or Parkinson Association of the Carolinas.
