William Jamie Riddle, 36, of Harmony, N.C., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.
Jamie was born June 20, 1989, in Iredell County and was the son of Connie Reavis and Marty Riddle. He was a graduate of North Iredell High School, Class of 2009.
Jamie was of the Baptist faith and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Union Grove. He enjoyed fishing and bowling with his family and friends, and when he was younger, he was part of a karate team. He was very successful and won many first-place trophies and medals. In addition, some of his hobbies were rock collecting, arrowhead collection, coin collecting, and being part of a bowling league. He enjoyed helping others.
In addition to his mother, Connie Reavis and stepfather, Mark Reavis, and father, Marty Riddle, those left to cherish Jamie’s memory are his grandparents, Melvin and Odessa Campbell; brother, Shannon Riddle; and sister, Kelly Johnson Kennedy (Nate); along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
A loving son, brother, and friend, Jamie, has left a lasting impression on those who knew him, and he will be forever missed.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stephen Pope officiating. The family will visit with family and friends following the service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Jacob Evans, Brennan Cass, Jeremy Duzan, Chris Haynes, Ryan Stiltner and Daniel Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Matt Rupard, Skyler Haneline, Evan Perdue, Kyle Reese and Kyle Ringler.
The family would like to express heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the EMS and fire departments of Iredell County.
