Angela “Angie” Pennell Bolick, 54, of Taylorsville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Angie was born May 1, 1971, in Iredell County, the daughter of Ann Adkins Furstenberg and the late Mike Pennell.

Most of her working career she worked in the furniture industry, but most recently she was a caregiver for her daughter. Angie was of the Christian faith, and she fiercely loved God. She dedicated her life to her two children and family. She loved animals and flowers. She was a mother to all. Her dad was her best friend.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wade Adkins and Vergie Adkins, and Willard James Pennell and Hattie “Pat” Harris Pennell.

Those left to cherish and honor Angie’s memories include her daughters, Bailey Danielle Bolick of Taylorsville, and Cassie Hattie Bolick (Tanner Hoosier) of Hickory; her brothers, Garrett Pennell (Kristen), and Brad Pennell (Samantha); nieces, Kennedy Pennell, and Vivian Pennell; nephew, Cameron Pennell; her step-mother, Rita Pennell; and many bonus grandchildren, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2 p.m. Rev. Jason Bumgarner will officiate.
