Barry Ronald Vinson, 69, of Statesville, N.C., passed away at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after a brief illness on February 19, 2026. He was born on August 16, 1956, in Iredell County, to the late William Franklin Vinson and Lona Queen Vinson. Barry was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Barry was preceded in death by his twin brother, Gary Donald Vinson, and his sister Bunny Vinson Boyd.

Barry is survived by his brother William Bryant Vinson of Huntersville and his friend Dale McLelland of Statesville.
