Beatrice Ann Coffey, 87, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House following a brief, unexpected illness on January 26, 2026. Ann was born on February 7, 1938, in Iredell County, to the late Samuel Arthur Christie and wife Virginia. Ann was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker in her lifetime.

Ann was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Coffey; her brother, David Christie; her son Johnny Coffey; and several grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Glenda Campbell of Statesville; her grandchildren, Angela Bennett and husband Mitch of Mooresville, Jason Mitchell of Statesville, Chrissy White of Statesville, Misty Fox and husband Michael of Statesville, Lori Coffey of Taylorsville, and Jerry Coffey of Taylorsville; her step-grandchild, Steven Conklin and wife Tamara of Virginia; and many loving great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held for friends and family at Chapman Funeral Home on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Graveside service details at Boone Fork Community Cemetery, located at 5324 US 221, Blowing Rock, NC, 28605, are to be announced at a later date.
