Bobby Fesperman, 83, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away peacefully at home on March 15, 2026.

In addition to his parents, Troy Fesperman and Rebecca Powers Leonard, he was preceded in death by sister, Pat Brewer.

He was raised on a farm where he learned the value of family and teamwork to include milking cows before school. He also drove a school bus for many years. Loving the outdoors, he was fond of gardening. He loved to can green beans, tomatoes, and corn to share with family and friends.

Bobby also enjoyed playing golf with his buddies, watching football and NASCAR races. He cherished his family and the many friends, young and old. Bobby never met a stranger, it seemed.

He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Linda Fesperman; daughter, Michelle Eggleston (Scott) of Mooresville, N.C.; grandson, Mitchell Eggleston; and sister, Charlene Coxey.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Prospect Presbyterian Church with Pastor Will Gipe officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
