Charles Lynn White, 76, of Taylorsville, N.C., passed away at Iredell Memorial Hospital on March 12, 2026. Lynn was born on July 20, 1949, in Alexander County to the late Janice E White.

Lynn was saved by the grace of God, and he loved being outdoors, especially running away to the beach for the day with his daughter, Tammy. Lynn was a handyman who loved painting and other construction work.

In addition to his parents, Lynn was preceded in death by his two brothers, Kenny Walker and Marion White; his sister, Janet Walker; and his grandchild, Jeremieh Rice.

Lynn is survived by his daughter, Tammy Bruce and husband Matt of Taylorsville; his two step-sons, Nathan Nielson of Taylorsville, and David Nielson of Las Vegas; his step-daughter, Ashley Wells of Taylorsville; his brother, Michael White of Hiddenite; his sister, Becky Bowman of Taylorsville; his multiple loving grandchildren; and one great grandchild who is on her way (Oakley).

A Celebration of Life for Lynn will be conducted on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Wayfound Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to assist them with Lynn’s funeral expenses.
