Chris Michael Williams, 73, of Hiddenite, N.C., passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at his home. He was born August 30, 1952, in Alexander County, the son of the late Clifford Williams and Gena Keever Williams.

Chris was a graduate of Hiddenite High School and was a self-employed contractor. He was a member of Rocky Springs Methodist Church. He enjoyed traveling, especially taking motorcycle trips. He also enjoyed the mountains and visiting his camper there. He loved to volunteer and help those in need.

Those left to honor and cherish his memories include his wife, Linda Waugh Williams; his daughters, Amy Hedrick (Jimmy) of Sherrills Ford and Traci Williams Landis (Brian) of Mooresville; his grandchildren, whom he loved and adored and was so extremely proud of, Carter Hedrick and Allison Dobyns; a sister, Reba Mitchell; a brother, Craig Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026, in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jerry Rogers and Pastor Bob Herron will officiate. Burial will follow in the Liberty United Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
