Edward Keith Lyons, 66, of Statesville, N.C., passed away after an extended illness at the Gordon Hospice House on March 7, 2026. Keith was born on March 15, 1959, in Carter County, Tenn., to the late Robert Lyons and Susan Delores Lyons. He was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church and was a landscaper for Tim Johnson Landscaping.

Keith is survived by his wife Tonya Tilley Lyons of the home; his three sons, Jamie Myers of Mocksville, William Clayton Tilley of Olin, and Aaron Keith Lyons of Statesville; his two brothers, Steve Lyons and wife Judy of Johnson City, Tenn., and Gregory Lyons of Statesville; his five sisters, Juanita Blakley and husband Jim of Clemons, Patricia Hellard of Spencer, Angela Naylor and husband Steve of Mocksville, Veronica Cheek and husband Cecile of Statesville, and Carlene Ruby of Statesville; and his two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be conducted at Rocky Hill Baptist Church of Statesville on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 10 a.m. Pastor Daniel Melton will be officiating.
