Jane Pauline Fernandez of Statesville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2026.

Jane was born in Liverpool, N.Y., on April 21, 1939. She lovingly cared for her children as a stay-at-home mom while her children were young. As her children entered their teen years, she took her organizational talents and attention to detail into the workplace as a secretary for Catholic Charities. She moved to Statesville, N.C., in 2004 to be near her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family, blessing her loved ones with thoughtful gifts, baking, shopping, doing puzzles, and watching her beloved New York Yankees.

Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband Anthony, with whom she enjoyed 46½ years of marriage. She is survived by her three children, Michael, Brian, and Suzan, and her wonderful grandchildren Riley, Tyler, Matthew, Grace, Koah, Mason, Carter, and Luke.

A memorial service will be held at Fairview Baptist Church on March 18, 2026, at 11 a.m.. A private family burial service at Iredell Memorial Park will follow.
