Jeremie Garrett Moore, 38, of Statesville, N.C., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

He was born on December 13, 1987, in Statesville to the late Larry Moore and Janet Christopher Barnette. Jeremie was a veteran serving proudly in the U.S Army. He enjoyed welding and masonry work. Jeremie had a true passion for tinkering and riding motorcycles, especially when it meant time well spent doing what he loved. He had a big heart and would help anyone.

Jeremie is survived by his sister, Karen White; brother, David Barnette; daughters, Annamarie Moore and Abigail Moore; son, Isaiah Black; and nieces, Jennifer and Janet Shumaker.
