Lynda “Joyce” McLean Anthony, 82, of Cleveland, N.C., passed away peacefully at her home on February 27, 2026. She was born on September 25, 1943, in Mooresville, N.C., to the late Fred and Velma McLean.

Joyce was a dedicated nurse after 30 years of service at the Veterans Hospital in Salisbury. She enjoyed crafts, arranging flowers, playing piano, and shopping. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Paul Anthony; children, Leigh Ann (Jerel) Bradshaw, Gretchen (David Earnhardt) Anthony, and Justin Anthony; grandchild, Ashleigh (Michelle) Crosby, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Service details will be announced by the family at a later date.
