Kristin Michelle DaSilva (Kulakowski) beloved mother, daughter, sister, and teacher, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, after a hard fought battle with breast cancer.

She was the cherished daughter of Richard Kulakowski and Lynne Powers, devoted mother to her son, Liam; and loving companion to her loyal dog, Jack. Kristin was a dear sister to Scott (Siobhan) Kulakowski, a treasured niece of Debbie (Michael) O’Neill and Karen Kulakowski, and cousin to Chris (Colleen) O’Neill, Megan (Jared) LaRock, and Daniel (Laurie) O’Neill. She is survived by countless friends.

Kristin dedicated her life to teaching, touching countless lives with her passion for learning. She had a love of running, often combining her enthusiasm for travel by seeking out races in new destinations. She will be remembered for her calm demeanor, unwavering love for her family and the joy she brought to those around her.

A memorial service honoring Kristin’s life will be held in the gym at Mooresville High School on January 18 at 11 a.m.
